Project 1 - Shot Demo

You and your partner will shoot and edit together a movie that demonstrates the different shot types, camera movement, and composition.

Shoot 2 examples of each of the shot types/movement listed below.
Shots should be 5 - 10 seconds long (hold a bit extra on each shot for editing)
Use a tripod whenever possible (unless otherwise noted)

long/full shot (ls)
medium long shot  (mls)

medium close-up (mcu)

xtreme close-up (xcu)

Movement
pan (tripod)                         
tilt (tripod)

Composition
head room
lead room
rule of thirds

all shots should consider rule of thirds, demonstrate head room and lead room. 

During editing, you will add text or voiceover that explains/defines each shot.
