Teen Read Week Posters

For Teen Read Week, students in Mr. Diaz’ Digital Photography class were challenged with promoting reading with photography and design. Students chose a book and created a poster using themes and imagery from the story in combination with their own photography. See more photos here.

Triple Exposure Self Portraits

Students in digital photography used all their own photos to create a self portraits that combine multiple exposures. The objective was to create a portrait with personal significance within the images used in the composite, or to create dynamic spatial relationships with the various textures in the photograph.

Elements of Art Photos

Students in Digital Photography took photos of subjects that demonstrated the elements of art: color, line, shape, form, space, and texture. Students also attempted to show good composition while learning some basic camera functions. Color Brittany Corona Victor Medina

Teen Read Week Book Poster Contest

Student’s in Mr. Diaz’s Digital Photography class were given the task of creating a poster to encourage reading for Teen Read Week. The students were instructed to photograph a student reading a book while using a basic studio lighting setup.
