High/Low Key Portraits

Students in digital photography learned some basic studio lighting setups. In these portraits, they demonstrate low key lighting and high key lighting. In low key lighting, shadows help make more dramatic photographs, and high key lighting where a lot of light creates a more upbeat impression.

Color Gel Portraits

Working with their knowledge of color theory and of portrait photography, students in Digital Photography worked with studio lighting and colored gels to create these dynamic portraits.
